Demonstrations and events banned in Tunceli for 10 days

In a statement issued by the Tunceli Governor's Office, it was stated: "In order to ensure peace and security, the inviolability of the person, safety regarding property, and public welfare within the borders of our province; to prevent provocative actions that could damage our national unity and solidarity; to establish national security, public order and safety; to protect the fundamental characteristics of the Republic and the indivisible integrity of the state with its territory and nation; to prevent potential illegal actions and avoid regrettable incidents; to prevent actions and attacks that are assessed to directly and clearly create the conditions for limitation and prohibition stipulated in our Constitution and laws; to prevent terrorist acts and the commission of crimes; to protect the rights and freedoms of others; and to prevent potential provocations and likely social incidents; a decision has been made to ban all kinds of actions/events (Gathering, Marching, Vigil, Press Statement, Hunger Strike, Sit-in, Rally, Setting up Stands, Pitching Tents, Distributing Leaflets/Brochures, Stickers, Hanging Posters/Banners, etc.) in open and closed areas within our provincial and district administrative borders (including the Gendarmerie zone), except for events deemed appropriate by the Governor's Office and District Governorships, for a period of 10 days from 19:30 on November 22, 2024, to 23:59 on December 1, 2024, in accordance with Articles 17 and 19 of the Law on Meetings and Demonstration Marches No. 2911 and Articles 11/A, B, and C of the Provincial Administration Law No. 5442."
