Denial of claims that 'Erdoğan called Israel'

In a statement issued by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM), it was stated that there is no question of President Erdoğan calling Israeli officials.

The statement noted that while Israeli media put forward the claim that "Turkey is in contact with its counterparts, the IDF, and security units through communication channels," some media outlets in Turkey distorted this baseless claim and reported it as "Erdoğan called Israel," and the following was recorded:

"Therefore, another piece of false news has been produced by citing false news as a basis.

As a result of Israel's genocide policies in Gaza, relations between Turkey and Israel have been completely severed.

No steps have been taken to improve relations in the period since.

Turkey continues to stand by the rightful cause of the Palestinian people. Do not give credence to baseless claims."
