Vessel traffic in the Bosphorus has been suspended in both directions due to dense fog. Meanwhile, Şehir Hatları has announced that some ferry services have been canceled.
It has been reported that vessel traffic in the Bosphorus has been suspended in both directions.
According to information on the General Directorate of Coastal Safety's website, vessel traffic in the Bosphorus was suspended in the north-south direction as of 05:30 and in the south-north direction as of 05:43.
Dense fog was observed around the Bosphorus and at the entrance to the Black Sea.
FERRY SERVICES ALSO SUSPENDED
On the other hand, some ferry services have been suspended until further notice due to the dense fog.
According to the announcement made by Şehir Hatları, it was reported that the 06:15 Eminönü-Beykoz, 07:55 Eminönü-Beylerbeyi, Anadoluhisarı-Eminönü, Sarıyer-Eminönü, Beykoz-Sarıyer, Anadolu Kavağı-Rumeli Kavağı-Sarıyer, Kanlıca-Küçüksu-Kabataş-Beşiktaş, İstinye-Çubuklu (Car Ferry), Küçüksu-İstinye, Kadıköy-Sarıyer, Çengelköy-Eminönü, and Arnavutköy-Eminönü services will not be able to operate until further notice.
