Deputy Chief Physician Feray Balkan murdered by her ex-husband
Feray Balkan, a deputy chief physician at Gaziantep Nizip State Hospital, was shot and killed by her ex-husband, non-commissioned officer Seçkin E.
The incident occurred at the entrance of an apartment building on 81156 Street in the Güzelyalı neighborhood of the Çukurova district.
According to allegations, non-commissioned officer Seçkin E. (39) and Feray Balkan (39) divorced approximately 1 year ago.
Feray Balkan, who was a deputy chief physician at Gaziantep Nizip State Hospital, had come to Adana to visit her mother. Learning that his ex-wife was in Adana, Seçkin E. opened fire on Feray Balkan in front of her mother's house.
The woman, who was seriously injured, collapsed in a pool of blood, while Seçkin E. fled the scene.
The body of the deceased woman was taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy.
Teams from the Çukurova District Police Department apprehended Seçkin E. as he attempted to flee the scene and took him into custody.
