Deputy Interior Minister Turan: This should not happen within Atatürk's party

Deputy Interior Minister Bülent Turan paid a series of visits in Kırklareli. Turan first visited Governor Uğur Turan in his office to receive information about ongoing work.

Later, Turan and his entourage visited the Provincial Special Administration Animal Shelter, which is currently under construction in Yündolan village, to receive information about the progress. Afterward, Turan visited the AKP Babaeski District Headquarters.

Following the visit, Turan attended the AKP's holiday celebration program at the Babaeski Municipality Tea Garden, where he made statements.

Regarding the CHP's call for street protests, Turan said, "What does it mean to call people to the streets, to hold protests in the street? Look, yesterday in France, Le Pen, a presidential candidate, was banned from politics; did she call people to the streets? Pınarhisar is right there; Recep Tayyip Erdoğan served time in prison; did he call people to the streets?

Lawsuits are followed, appeals are filed, rallies are held, and rights are sought, but boycotting Turkish goods, throwing stones in the street, and fighting with the police should not and cannot happen within Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's party.

Count the six arrows one by one. Would a person who knows the six arrows ask why the British Prime Minister, the leader of the Labour Party, did not support us? Would a person who knows the six arrows tell the New York Times that there is trouble in Turkey?

Come, my brother, let us have our fight in parliament, let the lawyers make their defense; all of that is acceptable. We have seen so many cases where we were exhausted and faced difficulties; did it ever cross our minds to take to the streets? We will never be a party to any wrongdoing like street protests or boycotts.

Our brothers and sisters in the CHP are first-class citizens of this country; they are our friends.

Warn them, tell them that Atatürk was not like this, tell them that the CHP was not like this. Moreover, you will see that the current debates have nothing to do with the issue in question; everyone is looking out for their own interests. It is nothing more than a fight over 'I want to be the esteemed chairman, I want to be the candidate'."
