Deputy minister and rector appointments published in the Official Gazette
According to the Appointment Decision published in the Official Gazette, Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services Yavuz Selim Kıran has been dismissed. He has been replaced by General Manager of Social Assistance Adil Çalışkan. Alparslan Çevik has been appointed to the position vacated by Çalışkan. Additionally, new rectors have been appointed to 6 universities.
The decisions bearing the signature of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan were published in the Official Gazette dated September 21, 2024.
Accordingly, Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services Yavuz Selim Kıran has been dismissed. He has been replaced by General Manager of Social Assistance Adil Çalışkan. Alparslan Çevik has been appointed to the position vacated by Çalışkan.
On the other hand, new rector appointments were also made to several universities.

İnönü University: Prof. Dr. Nusret Akpolat
Doğuş University: Prof. Dr. Ahmet Alkan Çelik
