Deren Talu rebels: It is impossible to live in this country without using antidepressants

Deren Talu, who was detained during a drug operation targeting famous figures and subjected to a drug test, has rebelled against the results that were announced as positive.

Following her mother Defne Samyeli, Talu made a statement on her Instagram account, saying that she uses antidepressants and that it is impossible to live in this country otherwise, while also adding that she will contest the results.

Deren Talu used the following expressions in her statement:

"I am in shock over these results that are claimed to have come out. I am very, very angry and sad. I have never used or tried drugs in my life. The results that are claimed to have been found in my hair are absolutely not true.

Is it this easy to smear a person's name? The sertraline found in my blood is from the antidepressant I use.

Surprisingly, this is the only correct result. And there is a valid reason for it.

Because I have understood once again that it is impossible to live in this country without using antidepressants. I do not accept or trust the results at all; I will be tested again at an independent institution. I will not allow my name to be smeared."
