Detained in drug investigation: Requested a breast pump to feed her baby
As part of a drug investigation conducted in Istanbul, 19 celebrities, including actress Meriç Aral, were detained. It was learned that Aral, who was detained shortly after giving birth, requested a breast pump to be able to feed her baby.
Within the scope of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Smuggling, Narcotics, and Economic Crimes Investigation Bureau, proceedings were initiated against a group, including well-known public figures, on charges of "using drugs or stimulants."
As a result of the operation, 19 celebrities were detained. It was reported that the investigation is continuing extensively and that the statements of the detained individuals have begun to be taken.
MERİÇ ARAL IS ALSO AMONG THOSE DETAINED
It was learned that actress Meriç Aral is among those detained. It was noted that Aral is married to her colleague Serkan Keskin and gave birth to their son, Güneş, on September 4, 2025.
It was reported that the famous actress, who gave birth only a month ago, was taken to the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command following her detention.
REQUESTED A BREAST PUMP
According to information provided by journalist Emrullah Erdinç, it was noted that Meriç Aral, who is in the postpartum period, is currently at the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command and has not yet given her statement.
According to allegations, Aral requested a breast pump from the authorities during her detention in order to be able to feed her baby.
