Detention orders issued regarding allegations at Karabük University!

Detention orders issued regarding allegations at Karabük University!

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has issued detention orders for 10 individuals identified as having made posts on the internet and social media regarding events at Karabük University that constitute "publicly inciting hatred and enmity" and "publicly disseminating misleading information."

Following the instructions of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, police teams have taken 8 suspects into custody, while operations to apprehend the remaining 2 suspects are reportedly ongoing.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Allegations made by some male and female students on a 'confession page' for Karabük University students regarding sexual encounters with African students had become a trending topic. Some students claimed they had gone to the hospital with concerns about HPV and HIV. The Karabük Provincial Health Directorate, however, denied the allegations.
