In an Ankara-based FETÖ investigation, detention warrants were issued simultaneously in 5 provinces for 19 suspects, including employees from TÜBİTAK and ASELSAN.
In an investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the FETÖ/PDY Armed Terrorist Organization, the decryption of the SIGNAL application, which the organization used as a secret communication network, has turned into a critical move. Following the examinations, detention warrants were issued for 19 people determined to have engaged in secret and encrypted organizational correspondence through this application.
It was reported that among the suspects are 2 individuals working at TÜBİTAK, 1 employee from ASELSAN, 1 personnel from the Turkish Energy, Nuclear and Mineral Research Agency, and 1 employee from Türk Telekomünikasyon A.Ş.
A simultaneous detention process has been initiated in a total of 5 provinces as part of the Ankara-based investigation.
