Detention warrants issued for 39 suspects in investigation into FETÖ's military structure
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has ordered the detention of 39 suspects as part of an investigation into the military structure of FETÖ/PDY.
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has issued detention warrants for 39 suspects in an investigation into the secret structure of FETÖ within the Land and Air Forces Commands and the Gendarmerie General Command.
According to the statement from the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, within the scope of investigations conducted by the Terror Crimes Investigation Bureau, detention warrants were issued for 39 suspects identified as being part of the secret structure of FETÖ within the Land and Air Forces Commands and the Gendarmerie General Command, including 8 "secret imams," 4 officers (2 active, 2 dismissed), 14 non-commissioned officers (7 active, 7 dismissed), 2 active-duty specialist sergeants, and 11 former military students.
It was determined that the suspects communicated via "payphone landlines," one of the organization's communication methods.
Operations to apprehend the suspects are being carried out by teams from the Ankara Police Department.
