Ali Sinan Tunaoğlu has been appointed to replace his wife, Elif Aslı Yıldız, the former CEO of Patiswiss, who had remained in the public eye after responding with threats to a consumer's 'moldy chocolate' post on LinkedIn.
Ankara-based chocolate manufacturer Patiswiss became a trending topic on social media following a post about "moldy chocolate."
The company's board chair, Elif Aslı Yıldız Tunaoğlu, had used the phrase, "You are facing the giant Migros and us," in response to the user who made the post in question.
Patiswiss CEO Elif Aslı Yıldız Tunaoğlu announced that she was stepping down from her position following the response she gave to the moldy chocolate post.

In a post on her social media account, Tunaoğlu had stated, "As a reflection of my sincere apology, I am stepping down from my position as Chairperson of the Board as of today."
According to a statement made by Patiswiss's official accounts, Ali Sinan Tunaoğlu has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Board of the company.
The statement read as follows:
"As a result of the Board of Directors meeting held on 23.04.2024, it has been decided to appoint Ali Sinan Tunaoğlu as the Chairperson of the Board. This decision will be published in the Trade Registry Gazette."
