Development regarding the Alihan Kuriş criminal organization of the Süleymancılar: 35 suspects arrested
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has issued a statement regarding the investigation into the Alihan Kuriş profit-oriented criminal organization of the Süleymancılar.
The statement made by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is as follows:
''Under the coordination of our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office;
Within the scope of the work carried out by the Ankara Provincial Police Department's Financial Crimes Investigation Branch;
As part of the operation conducted on 25.08.2026 within the scope of the activities of the Alihan Kuriş profit-oriented criminal organization, 37 suspects who were taken into custody were brought to our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, and all of the suspects were referred to the Criminal Judgeship of Peace with a request for arrest.
Of the 37 suspects referred, 35 were ordered to be arrested, and judicial control measures were imposed on 2 suspects.'' the statement read.
