It has been claimed that the efforts to establish a new party by Özgür Özel, who left the chairmanship seat following the cancellation of the congress and is now the CHP Group Chairman, have gained momentum.

Journalist Murat Kelkitlioğlu recently reported on tv100 that the name 'Yürüyüş' (Walk), which was expected to be chosen for the new party Özel is expected to form, was abandoned due to the possibility that it might resemble Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's 'Justice March' (Adalet Yürüyüşü). Kelkitlioğlu had stated that the name of the party could be 'New Party'.
