Devlet Bahçeli's first statement on cabinet changes: He targets the CHP
MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli has made his first statement regarding the new appointments at the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Justice.
Bahçeli shared a post on his social media account regarding the new appointments at the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Justice.
Bahçeli wrote the following on his social media account:
"A change of duty has taken place in the Presidential Cabinet, both within the scope of the mandatory and comprehensive provisions of the current Constitution and within the nature and linear provisions of the Presidential Government System. This democratic discretion and preference have taken place in a highly legal and legitimate line.
On this occasion, I thank our Ministers of Justice and Interior who requested to be relieved of their duties, and I wish success to our newly appointed Ministers of Justice and Interior, who were appointed within the framework of law and legitimacy, and I convey my congratulations.
The anti-democratic and fascist treatment by the Republican People's Party (CHP), which went as far as occupying the podium during the oath-taking ceremony of our newly appointed ministers, especially our Minister of Justice, within the framework of constitutional procedure at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) today, cannot be seen as justified or excusable in any respect.
This intolerant and rude attitude has no connection or relation to politics or democracy.
It is clear that the CHP's disruptive and crisis-mongering political attitude is based on deep hostility and enmity toward the national will, while also aiming to undermine the life of the Turkish state and its administration.
The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) stands behind and beside our newly appointed ministers, as well as the discretion and vision of our President, to the very end."
