Dialogue between Erdoğan and citizen: 'The gassal is in good form these days'
During the handover ceremony for earthquake housing in Adıyaman, an interesting dialogue took place when AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan learned that a citizen who came on stage was a 'gassal' (a person who performs ritual washing of the dead).
President Erdoğan attended the "We Become One: February 6 Earthquake Commemoration Program" at the Adıyaman Youth and Sports Directorate Sports Hall.
Making significant statements there, Erdoğan said, "We will have built a total of 453 thousand houses by the end of the year, and we will not leave a single citizen who has not entered their home or received their workplace."
"THE GASSAL IS ALSO IN GOOD FORM THESE DAYS..."
Following his speech, Erdoğan connected to the provinces in the earthquake zone to conduct the key handover.
After the connection, a family who received their homes came onto the stage.
At that moment, Erdoğan mentioned that the citizen was a gassal. Referring to a digital platform series, Erdoğan said, "The gassal is in good form these days..."
