According to the latest earthquake list from the Kandilli Observatory and AFAD, the magnitude of the earthquake was determined to be 4.7. It was reported that the tremor occurred at a depth of approximately 10.5 kilometers.

The earthquake was felt in surrounding provinces as well as Sivas. It was felt in many provinces, including Kayseri and Çorum.
