Developments in the Dilan-Engin Polat case, which has shaken Turkey's agenda, continue without slowing down.
Among the detainees brought to the Marmara Closed Penal Institution on November 5 after being arrested on charges of "establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes and a criminal organization for profit"—namely Engin Polat, Sezgin Polat, Ahmet Gün, Can Polat, Halit Polat, Can Doğu, Metin Yılmaz, Alper Kürşat Polat, and Zekayi Tepe—it has been learned that Alper Kürşat Polat and Zekayi Tepe were transferred to the Kocaeli Closed Penal Institution, while detainees Engin Polat and Sezgin Polat were transferred to the Çorlu High-Security Closed Penal Institution, and Can Polat, Halit Polat, Can Doğu, and Metin Yılmaz were transferred to the Tekirdağ Closed Penal Institution.
Thus, the prisons of Dilan and Engin Polat have been separated.
