Dilan Polat and Sıla Doğu released under judicial control

Dilan Polat and her sister Sıla Doğu were seen kissing on the lips on stage at a party they held recently. As the footage spread rapidly on social media, the backlash grew like an avalanche. An investigation was launched against Dilan Polat and Sıla Doğu for the crime of "lewd acts" due to them kissing each other.

Following the investigation, the sisters were taken into custody.

REFERRED TO THE DUTY JUDGE

Dilan Polat and Sıla Doğu, who were referred to the courthouse within the scope of an investigation launched ex officio for the crime of 'lewd acts' due to their actions at an entertainment venue, were referred to the duty judgeship with a request for the application of a judicial control measure in the form of 'signing in'.

RELEASED UNDER JUDICIAL CONTROL

Dilan Polat and Sıla Doğu, against whom an investigation was launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for the crime of 'lewd acts' regulated in Article 225 of the Turkish Penal Code (TCK), were released under judicial control.

Engin Polat was seen arriving at the courthouse with his lawyer to provide support.
