ÇERKEZOĞLU: IT IS OPPRESSION
DİSK President Arzu Çerkezoğlu reacted to Erdoğan's announcement. In a statement on her social media account X, Çerkezoğlu said the following:
"It is oppression to provide an increase far below the official inflation rate to retirees whose base salary is below 7500 TL. Giving other retirees a raise equal to an inflation rate that no one believes in, while saying 'Turkey is growing' and impoverishing the retiree, is an injustice.
