Dispute over 'insult to Atatürk' in municipal council turns into a brawl: 'Don't be rude, Mr. Mayor'
In Trabzon, a debate over an 'insult to Atatürk' that began due to a social media post by AKP member Ufuk Hoş at the Ortahisar Municipal Council meeting escalated quickly.
The April session of the Ortahisar Municipality was held today.
CHP Council Member Serdar Çebi read out a social media post by AKP member Ufuk Hoş during his speech and declared, "You cannot insult Atatürk."

"YOU ARE THE ONE BEING RUDE"
After AKP member Ufuk Hoş, who wanted to speak following Çebi's remarks, told Mayor Kaya, "Don't be rude, Mr. Mayor," the council chamber erupted in chaos.

During the argument, in which council members stood up, Mayor Kaya told Ufuk Hoş, "You are the one being rude. Watch your language, you insolent person."
As the debate in the council turned into a brawl, the fight ended after AKP and CHP council members intervened.
