Diyanet children's magazine heaps praise: 'Geniuses like Selçuk Bayraktar...'

A special section titled "Flying Geniuses" was prepared for the July issue of the Presidency of Religious Affairs' (Diyanet) magazine for children.

A notable section appeared on the two pages dedicated to the "Flying Geniuses" theme in the magazine.

In the section explaining space technologies, President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's son-in-law, Selçuk Bayraktar, was featured.

In the "Flying Geniuses" section of the July issue of Diyanet Çocuk Magazine, it was also noted that photos of UAVs and UCAVs were included alongside space technology. In this context, photos of unmanned aerial vehicles such as Kızılelma, Kaan, and Akıncı, as well as an image of Bayraktar's TB2 aircraft, were used.

'GENIUSES'

According to a report by Mustafa Bildircin from BirGün, the magazine also included a short article on space and aviation. In the article, which stated that scientists are constantly working on space and aviation technologies, it was said: "For example, geniuses like Selçuk Bayraktar are pushing the boundaries of technology with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)."

SPACE TOURISM

A photograph of Alper Gezeravcı, the first astronaut Turkey sent to space, was also printed in the magazine. The following note was written for Gezeravcı, who was referred to as a "flying genius" alongside Selçuk Bayraktar: "Space exploration will be realized through technological developments that will allow us to travel to planets outside the world. Turkish astronauts should not be forgotten either. Our astronauts like Alper Gezeravcı and Tuva Cihangir Atasever are now setting out to explore space. In the future, people will pursue even bigger dreams. Thanks to space tourism, we can have new experiences that will allow people to travel to space and explore other worlds. There are no borders in the sky. The story of Muslim Turkish scholars shows us that with imagination and hard work, everyone can realize their own flight."
