The lunch menu prepared for the high-level executives of the Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet), which outstrips many ministries with its multi-billion lira budget and frequently makes headlines for its luxury official vehicles, has been revealed.

In today's Turkey, where citizens wait for hours and form queues for affordable meat, the Diyanet's menu features a meat dish every day.

PRICES ARE PRACTICALLY DIRT CHEAP!

According to a report by Deniz Ayhan from Sözcü, the Diyanet's menu for May 17, today, includes "corn soup, farm-style meatballs, bulgur pilaf, and fruit." It has been learned that the President of Religious Affairs Ali Erbaş, along with the Vice Presidents of Religious Affairs, the President of the High Board of Religious Affairs, the President of the Diyanet Academy, General Managers, the Head of Guidance and Inspection, and the Head of Strategy Development pay 67.5 TL for this menu. However, 4/D status workers, radio and TV personnel, KOMAŞ personnel, and other Presidency staff pay 100 TL. For guests, the meal costs 110 TL. Cooks, security guards, service staff, drivers, directors, and 4/B contract personnel pay 30 TL for this meal, while presidential advisors, chief inspectors, legal advisors, and lawyers pay 42 TL.
