The Presidency's Directorate of Communications Center for Combating Disinformation denied claims that "Turkish citizenship was granted to the Somali President's son" in a statement made via social media.
A statement was issued from the DMM's social media account regarding the claim that "Turkish citizenship was granted to the Somali President's son."
Stating that the claim in question is not true, the statement included the following: "The individual in question has not made any application, nor is there any question of granting citizenship to the individual.
Do not give credence to baseless claims intended to manipulate public opinion."
