The incident occurred at Adana City Training and Research Hospital. According to reports, 43-year-old Obstetrician and Gynecologist Dr. Ş.G.A., who was experiencing muscle pain while on duty, requested that healthcare staff provide her with a muscle relaxant.

Ş.G.A. fell ill after the medication was administered.

Her heart stopped, but she was resuscitated following medical intervention.

It is alleged that a medication error may have occurred due to a similarity in names, and she was admitted to the hospital's intensive care unit for treatment.

While the doctor remains in critical condition in the intensive care unit, an investigation into the incident has been launched.
