Document of the scandal: Dutch drug lord obtained residence permits with two different identities

Residence permits issued in Turkey to Dutch drug lord Leijdekkers under two different names have been revealed by Timur Soykan.

BirGün columnist and journalist Timur Soykan, in his article titled "The identity documents of the scandal," published the residence permits issued in Turkey to one of Europe's biggest drug lords, the Dutchman Leijdekkers, under two different names, and also touched upon the article by T24 columnist and journalist Tolga Şardan titled "What is behind the residence permits found at Yerlikaya's residence?"

Stating, "Both residence permits were issued in the same city, Muğla. How were those responsible for this scandal saved?" Soykan's article continues as follows:

"There is a major scandal at hand, and because the state in this country is decaying, we must dig for the truth like digging a well with a needle.

According to the police report from the villa in Bodrum Yalıkavak where Abdullah Alp Üstün was captured on June 13, 2023, another residence permit card issued under the name 'Daniel Ernst' was found for 'Tombul Jos' (Fat Jos). It was understood that the Dutch drug lord had been granted dual residence permits. It was a huge scandal that one of Europe's biggest drug lords was granted residence permits in Turkey under two separate names. This is because when residence permits are issued, the applicants' fingerprints and biometric photos are taken. Normally, it is impossible for the same person to obtain residence permits under two different names.

But the state in Turkey has decayed, and for those with money, there is no such thing as impossible."
