Driver arrested following fatal Metrobus accident
The driver, identified as Şaban Ş., who was detained in connection with the Metrobus accident in Beylikdüzü that resulted in 1 death and 57 injuries, has been arrested by the court and sent to prison.

In the accident that occurred on May 10 in Beylikdüzü, a Metrobus approaching from behind struck another Metrobus that was waiting at a station to pick up passengers; 1 passenger lost their life in the accident, while 57 passengers were injured.
The Metrobus driver, Şaban Ş., who was detained regarding the incident, had been referred to the courthouse following his processing at the police station.
After completing his testimony at the Büyükçekmece Courthouse, Şaban Ş. was arrested by the Criminal Judgeship of Peace and sent to prison.
