Driver fined thousands of liras for drifting
A driver who endangered traffic by drifting in Beylikdüzü has been issued an administrative fine of 40,052 TL.
On Yavuz Sultan Selim Boulevard in Beylikdüzü, a driver identified as M.İ.A., who endangered traffic by drifting with his vehicle and shared the footage on his social media account, was identified by police teams.
As a result of the work carried out by the Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate's Civil Traffic teams, the driver of the vehicle, M.İ.A., was apprehended.
FINED THOUSANDS OF LIRAS
M.İ.A., who was caught by the Civil Traffic teams, was issued a total of 40,052 TL in administrative traffic fines, consisting of 32,233 TL for "drifting" under the Highway Traffic Law, 690 TL for "driving disrespectfully," 6,439 TL for "using an exhaust that disturbs the environment," and 690 TL for "driving an uninsured vehicle."
BANNED FROM TRAFFIC
In addition, M.İ.A. was banned from traffic for 60 days for the offense of drifting. M.İ.A. was taken into custody to face charges for operating a vehicle in a manner that endangers the life and property safety of others.
