Driver of vehicle using 'Reserved for official service' card fined

In Istanbul's Beşiktaş district, a fine was issued to the driver of a vehicle that was seen in traffic with a 'Reserved for official service' card and allocated to model Şevval Şahin, while judicial proceedings were initiated against him for 'forgery of an official document'.

Driver of vehicle using 'Reserved for official service' card fined

The Istanbul Police Department's Traffic Inspection Branch teams launched an investigation into a vehicle seen on Cevdet Paşa Street in Beşiktaş, which was spotted on some social media platforms displaying a 'Reserved for official service' card. License plate checks revealed that the vehicle belonged to businessman Burak A. and that he had allocated the vehicle to his model girlfriend, Şevval Şahin.

As part of the investigation, the driver of the vehicle, identified as M.A., was apprehended. Administrative fines were imposed on both the driver, M.A., and the vehicle owner, Burak A., for "attaching or writing advertisements, text, signs, pictures, shapes, symbols, announcements, pennants, flags, and similar items to vehicles without permission or without having them registered in the vehicle's registration records, other than the signs required to be kept on vehicles, possessing audio and light equipment, and failing to use a seatbelt."

Judicial proceedings were initiated against the driver, M.A., who gave his statement at the police station, for the crime of "forgery of an official document."
