Drug and prostitution operation targeting celebrities: 12 arrested

Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Smuggling, Narcotics and Economic Crimes Investigation Bureau is conducting investigations into "manufacture and trafficking of narcotic substances", "providing special premises, equipment or materials to facilitate the use of narcotic or stimulant substances and taking measures to make it harder to apprehend users", "purchasing, accepting or possessing narcotic or stimulant substances for personal use ", "using narcotic or stimulant substances", and "inciting and facilitating prostitution" offenses, and the investigations are continuing under the scope of the probe.

As part of the investigation, 12 people including model Buse İskenderoğlu have been remanded in custody and sent to prison.
