Drug operation in Düzce
Two people were detained in Düzce during raids conducted by police teams targeting street-level drug dealers as part of the fight against narcotics.
Under the coordination of the Düzce Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, teams from the Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch conducted an operation in the Çay neighborhood. In this context, during searches conducted on the individuals identified as O.O.Ö. and İ.G., as well as in their residences, on charges of drug trafficking, 6 grams of methamphetamine, 1 unlicensed handgun, equipment used for drug consumption and sales, and 1 butterfly knife were seized. While the individual identified as O.Ö., who was processed for drug trafficking, was released under judicial control, the individual identified as İ.G. was arrested by the Düzce Criminal Court of Peace. Additionally, judicial proceedings were initiated against 2 people determined to have purchased drugs from the suspects on charges of drug use.
