Drug operation in Istanbul: 110 suspects detained
110 suspects were apprehended in an operation conducted in Istanbul; access to 65 Telegram groups and channels identified via the AVCI system has been blocked.
In a large-scale operation targeting drug trafficking in Istanbul, 110 suspects were detained.
As part of the operation, numerous posts related to drug trafficking were identified through examinations conducted using the domestic and national artificial intelligence program, the Open Source Intelligence Analysis System (AVCI).
Following the investigations, access to 65 Telegram groups and channels deemed to be linked to drug trafficking was blocked.
It was reported that proceedings regarding the suspects are ongoing.
