Drug operation in Muş: Two arrested individuals turn out to be special operations police officers
It has been revealed that two suspects caught in a drug operation on the Muş-Bingöl highway are police officers serving in the Police Special Operations unit. 10.5 kilograms of methamphetamine, 6 kilograms of heroin, and a large amount of cash were seized in their vehicle.
It has been revealed that two suspects who were detained and subsequently arrested during a drug operation carried out in Muş three weeks ago were serving in the Police Special Operations unit.
LARGE QUANTITY OF DRUGS SEIZED
According to information reported by T24 columnist Tolga Şardan, two vehicles were stopped and searched on the Muş-Bingöl highway under the instructions of the prosecutor's office. During the searches, a total of 10.5 kilograms of methamphetamine, 6 kilograms of heroin, and approximately 200 thousand Turkish Lira in cash were seized.
The two special operations police officers detained as part of the operation were arrested by the court and sent to prison.
