Drug operations targeting celebrities continue: 5 people detained

The police have carried out an operation as part of an ongoing investigation into drugs and prostitution involving celebrities.

This new operation targeting celebrities has drawn significant attention within the scope of the recently increasing drug and prostitution investigations.

Law enforcement forces had conducted similar operations in recent days. It is stated that there are new detentions this time and the investigation has been expanded.

It has been learned that the names detained include Çağla Boz and Melis Sabah.

It was learned that a large number of synthetic pills were seized during searches conducted at Çağla Boz's home.

15 PEOPLE TESTED POSITIVE

The tests of 15 people detained in operations conducted in the final days of 2025 were completed yesterday.

According to the report, the drug test results of İpek Mintaş, Serap Şaylan, Rabia Yaman, Buse İskenderoğlu, Burak Güngörmedi, Resul Arslan, Emrah Gencer, Yasin Burak Becek, Dilara Ege Çevik, Tuğrulbey Aran, Rabia Karaca, Cengiz Can Atasoy, Cihan Güler, Ayhan Yücesoy, and Zohaer Majhadi were determined to be positive.

The results for Kadir Haluk Şentürk, Ali Baran Süzer, Ömer Can Kılıç, Şebnem İnan, and Nilay Didem Kılavuz came back negative.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Many operations have been carried out since October 8, 2025, as part of the drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office targeting celebrities.

Many well-known figures, including musicians, managers, and business people, have provided statements and blood and hair samples for drug testing.

Arrest warrants were issued for Şevval Şahin, Mert Vidinli, and Kasım Garipoğlu.
