The statement released by Tuğberk Yağız Gülter's lawyer, Rahmi Çelik, regarding the matter via his client's social media account is as follows:

'On December 20, 2025, the necessity for this statement has arisen as a result of baseless reports made against my client, Tuğberk Yağız Hamza Gülter, and his esteemed family, which have no foundation and push the boundaries of conscience.

It was observed with regret that in the allegations conveyed to our police department on the date in question—which were the product of a dark hand—it was claimed that my client and his relatives used immoral and illegal substances, stored them in their residence, and even more grievously, slandered the cherished memory of their late mother, Gül Tut, and the values she left behind, attempting to cast suspicion on this painful loss.

As a result of the investigation meticulously conducted by judicial authorities and the comprehensive search carried out in my client's home: No criminal elements or prohibited substances were found, the results of the initial biological examinations and tests applied to my client came back 'Negative,' scientifically confirming the groundlessness of the allegations, and it has come to light that the heinous scenarios constructed around the passing of the late Gül Tut were merely a futile effort aimed at tainting a family's mourning. Efforts to identify those responsible have been initiated, and the necessary legal actions have been commenced.'
