The 100-meter-long dry cargo ship named 'RAZOUK', which was traveling from Aliağa to Bulgaria, experienced an engine failure off the coast of Karanlık Liman while passing through the Dardanelles.

Upon the ship captain reporting the situation via radio to the Dardanelles Vessel Traffic Services Directorate, the 'Kurtarma-3' tugboat belonging to the General Directorate of Coastal Safety (KEGM) was dispatched to the area.

Other ships scheduled to pass through the strait were informed about the failure.
