New allegations have emerged regarding singer Mustafa Sandal and his wife, Melis Sütşurup Sandal, in the ongoing fund investigation into capital markets. In a previous statement, Sandal had stated that he and his wife were victims, declaring, "My conscience is clear!"
According to a report by Günaydın columnist Ömer Karahan, it is alleged that Mustafa Sandal applied for a residence permit in Dubai before the investigation process began. It was claimed that Sandal was stopped by police at Dubai Airport while attempting to travel abroad for a concert recently and was not permitted to leave the country.
According to the allegation, Sandal had to remain in Dubai for two days while waiting for the procedures to be completed. It was also claimed that the artist rented a private jet in order to make it to his concert abroad.

It is stated that the assets of 42 people have been frozen as part of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Terrorism Financing and Money Laundering Crimes Investigation Bureau into transactions carried out in capital markets.
It was alleged that Melis Sütşurup Sandal, who is reported to be among these names, withdrew 11 billion 126 million 528 thousand 163 TL from the liquidated funds. It was noted that Sütşurup Sandal is also the daughter of stockbroker Cihan Sütşurup.
