e-Devlet era begins for 'Accident Reports'

Thanks to a new service added to e-Devlet, it is now possible to fill out accident reports and communicate with insurance companies. With the new “Accident Report Preparation” service, drivers will be able to report their accidents easily.

Through this service, citizens will be able to create accident reports using the e-Devlet mobile application on iOS and Android platforms.

To create an accident report, you need to type “Accident Report Preparation” into the search box. Then, you must enter the date and location of the accident, the vehicles involved, and other details on the service page. Once the entered information is verified, it is possible to save the report.

The most important advantage of the service is that the report information is transferred directly to the Insurance Information and Monitoring Center (SBM). Thus, insurance companies will be instantly notified that the accident has occurred. They will also be able to quickly begin the damage assessment and compensation payment processes.

Drivers will be spared from time-consuming processes such as calling the insurance company by phone and sending copies of the report. They will be able to prepare a report instantly via e-Devlet and track it online.
