According to information released by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), an earthquake occurred in the Germencik district of Aydın today at 14:04. The magnitude of the earthquake was determined to be 3.9, and the epicenter was identified as Germencik.
AFAD reported that the earthquake occurred at a point close to the surface, 7.3 kilometers below ground.
