Earthquake in Istanbul on the Cabinet's agenda: Here are the topics on the table

The Presidential Cabinet will meet at the Palace tomorrow (April 28) after a two-week break.

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will chair the meeting, where the 6.2-magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Sea of Marmara will be the most important topic. 

According to NTV, the effects of the earthquake will be addressed, and the building stock in Istanbul will be evaluated once again. Urban transformation efforts are also expected to be discussed at the Cabinet meeting.

It was learned that an evaluation will also be made regarding new and accessible housing projects.

OPPORTUNISTS WILL ALSO BE DISCUSSED

While inspections continue against opportunists who have imposed exorbitant price hikes on bags and tents following the earthquake, this issue will also be discussed in the Cabinet.

On the other hand, new steps to be taken to curb rising inflation will also be discussed in the cabinet.

NEW OPENING PROCESS AND WHAT IS BEING DISCUSSED IN THE LOBBIES

The new opening process, which the government calls a "Terror-Free Turkey" and which MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli is the architect of, is also among the Cabinet's topics.

While it is claimed that the terrorist organization PKK and its extensions will dissolve themselves and lay down their arms, it is being discussed in Ankara's political circles that the end of this month is important.
