A 4.9-magnitude earthquake occurred in the Doğanşehir district of Malatya at 10:46 AM.

Following the earthquake, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya made a statement on the X platform, saying the following:

Regarding the 4.9-magnitude earthquake that occurred in Malatya's Doğanşehir district and was also felt in the surrounding provinces of Kahramanmaraş, Adıyaman, Gaziantep, and Kilis, all teams from AFAD and our relevant institutions have immediately begun field surveys.

According to initial assessments, there are no negative reports. Incoming reports are being evaluated.

I extend my best wishes to our citizens affected by the earthquake.

May God protect our country and our nation from disasters.

Malatya Doğanşehir’de 4??.9?? büyüklüğünde meydana gelen ve çevre illerden Kahramanmaraş, Adıyaman, Gaziantep, Kilis illerinden de hissedilen depremle ilgili olarak AFAD ve ilgili kurumlarımızın tüm ekipleri saha taramalarına derhal başlamıştır.
