Earthquake in Sındırgı, Balıkesir! AFAD and Kandilli report different magnitudes

Earthquake in Sındırgı, Balıkesir! AFAD and Kandilli report different magnitudes

According to data from the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 occurred in Balıkesir at 09:29.

The earthquake, which had its epicenter in the Sındırgı district, was recorded at a depth of 9.88 kilometers.

The Kandilli Observatory, meanwhile, announced the magnitude of the earthquake as 4.1 and its depth as 13.8 kilometers.
