After Gemlik, an earthquake has now struck Malatya!

A 3.5-magnitude earthquake has occurred in the Gemlik district of Bursa.

It was recorded that the earthquake took place at 10:45 at a depth of 13.2 kilometers.

EARTHQUAKE IN MALATYA TOO!

After Gemlik, an earthquake has now struck Malatya.

According to AFAD data, the epicenter of the 4.3-magnitude earthquake, which occurred at 12:23, was reported to be the Doğanşehir district of Malatya.

The earthquake was determined to have occurred at a depth of 17.7 kilometers.

District residents experienced anxiety due to the earthquake. Some citizens in buildings and businesses headed to empty and safe areas upon feeling the tremor.

Malatya Governor Ersin Yazıcı stated in a post on the social media platform X, "Following the 4.3-magnitude earthquake centered in Doğanşehir, all teams from AFAD and our relevant institutions have been directed to conduct field scans. May God protect our country and our nation from disasters."

Doğanşehir Mayor Durali Zelyurt reported in a written statement that there are currently no negative developments in the district.
