Ece Üner’s remarks on Yunus Emre Geçti, who martyred Şeyda Yılmaz, become a hot topic: 'Why wait until it stinks like trash?'

The murderer Yunus Emre Geçti, who martyred police officer Şeyda Yılmaz in Ümraniye, Istanbul, has been arrested.

The fact that Geçti, who was taken to the courthouse in a black trash bag inside an animal control vehicle, had 26 prior criminal records has become a major topic of public discussion.

Ece Üner used harsh language on Halk TV Main News regarding the fact that the suspect who martyred police officer Şeyda Yılmaz had been released from previous investigations.

“A criminal with a record of 26 separate crimes martyred her, and this criminal was put in a trash bag while being taken to the courthouse. Look: 1 count of drug trafficking, 8 counts of drug use, 2 counts of intentional injury, 1 count of sexual harassment, 2 counts of looting, 1 count of extortion, 2 counts of child sexual abuse, 1 count of theft, 2 counts of property damage. These are his criminal records. The police catch him 26 times, and he is released 26 times. Then he goes and martyrs a young police officer in the prime of her life. So why did you wait until it stank like trash?"

WHAT HAPPENED?

Yunus Emre G. (19), who was taken into custody at the Dudullu Police Station regarding a motorcycle theft and was learned to have 26 separate criminal records, escaped from the station, and police officers K.H.S. and Şeyda Yılmaz pursued the suspect to apprehend him.

The suspect, Yunus Emre G., was caught after a short chase, during which a struggle ensued.

As a result of the suspect taking the officer's weapon and firing into the surroundings, police officer Şeyda Yılmaz was martyred, while police officer K.H.S. and the suspect's mother, P.G. (43), were injured.
