Education suspended for one day in 4 schools in İskenderun
In the İskenderun district of Hatay, education has been suspended for one day in 4 schools due to coastal areas being flooded during a storm.
The İskenderun coastline, which experienced subsidence following the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes, was flooded by the storm that was effective in recent days.
Adverse weather conditions in the district center have negatively affected life in many locations.
İskenderun District Governor Mehmet Sefa Demiryürek announced that education has been suspended for one day in 4 schools in the district.
In a post on his social media account, District Governor Demiryürek stated, "Sahil Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Şemsettin Mursaloğlu Anatolian High School, Hanifi Uysal Secondary School, and İnönü Secondary School, which shares the same building, will suspend education tomorrow as well due to water accumulation in their gardens and the closure of access roads."
