Efforts to combat forest fire in Çanakkale continue
Teams are continuing their struggle against the fire that broke out in the Ayvacık district of Çanakkale amid intense winds.
Teams are battling intense winds and flames in forest fires that began near Naldöken village in the Ayvacık district of Çanakkale and in the Kaytandere neighborhood of the Şarköy district in Tekirdağ, reaching as far as the Gelibolu district.

A post shared on the social media account of the General Directorate of Forestry highlighted the difficulty of the firefighting efforts, showing sparks raining down on the teams due to the wind.

The post stated, "In Tekirdağ's Şarköy and Çanakkale's Ayvacık, we are fighting not only against the flames but also against severe winds. We will continue to work with determination for our Green Homeland, day and night, until the last flame is extinguished."
