EGM statement on Special Operations Presidency catering tender allegations: Only one

The statement indicated that two police chief inspectors had previously been assigned by the EGM on January 8, 2025, to investigate the allegations, and it was reported that the catering company in question had submitted a bid for only one of the tenders organized by the Special Operations Presidency, but had not been awarded any catering contracts.

The statement further noted that the police chief inspector assigned to the matter determined that the Deputy Head of the Special Operations Presidency did not reside in the same housing complex as the company owner, and that no pressure was exerted on Special Operations Branch Directorates to accept the tender in favor of the aforementioned firm. "As a result of the administrative investigation conducted regarding other allegations, the disciplinary report prepared concerning our personnel in question was referred to the General Directorate of Security's High Disciplinary Board on September 10, 2025, with the recommendation that they be sanctioned for the act of 'engaging in actions and behaviors outside of service that undermine the dignity and sense of trust required by their official status.'
