AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan noted the following in his message on his social media account for Eid al-Adha:

"I sincerely congratulate our nation and the Islamic world on Eid al-Adha. I wish for the holiday to bring peace to our hearts, well-being to our country, and peace to our geography of the heart, especially Palestine and Sudan. May our holiday be blessed."

Erdoğan's message, "I congratulate my dear nation on Eid al-Adha and wish them well," was also broadcast on the digital display screen at the Presidential Communications Directorate building.

CHP leader Özgür Özel celebrated the holiday of all politicians and all citizens who voted for them.

BAHÇELİ VISITED TÜRKEŞ'S GRAVE

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made statements to journalists after visiting the grave of Alparslan Türkeş on the first day of the holiday. Regarding recent developments, Bahçeli stated that the People's Alliance (Cumhur İttifakı) would continue.

Bahçeli said: "There will be no cracking in us. We are not adobe; our alliance is like a rock. Breaking rocks yields no results. The People's Alliance will continue. Politicians must be sincere in their solidarity. MHP stands with our President with this understanding. It is following international developments."

ALI BABACAN IS ALSO AMONG THOSE CELEBRATING THE HOLIDAY

DEVA Party Chairman Ali Babacan, while congratulating everyone on the holiday in his post, touched upon the events in Palestine.

Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu: Saadet Party Chairman Karamollaoğlu went to the Balgat Hamidiye Mosque to perform the Eid prayer. After praying with the congregation, Karamollaoğlu exchanged holiday greetings with the citizens. In his statement to journalists upon leaving, Karamollaoğlu commemorated the civilians who lost their lives in Palestine, saying, "The world has never encountered such brutality. Israel, which carries out this brutality, will surely see its consequences one day.
