Ekrem İmamoğlu and Erkan Baş hold 'Trustee' meeting
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu continues his meetings with party leaders to draw attention to the appointment of government-appointed trustees. In this context, İmamoğlu visited Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP) Chairman Erkan Baş. Following the meeting, İmamoğlu and Baş held a joint statement.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu visited Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP) Chairman Erkan Baş at the TİP Istanbul Provincial Organization at 17:30.
A joint statement was made following the meeting.
After the appointment of trustees to the CHP-run Esenyurt Municipality, followed by the DEM Party-run Mardin, Batman, and Halfeti Municipalities, Ekrem İmamoğlu cut his Egypt program short and returned to Turkey.
TRUSTEE VISITS FROM İMAMOĞLU
İmamoğlu had requested appointments from the leaders of all political parties represented in Parliament regarding the trustee agenda and met with Özgür Özel, Temel Karamollaoğlu, Müsavat Dervişoğlu, Ahmet Davutoğlu, Ali Babacan, and Ümit Özdağ on Tuesday.
İmamoğlu had also paid a visit to New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) Chairman Fatih Erbakan on Wednesday.
While MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli did not grant an appointment to İmamoğlu, a meeting could not be held with the DEM Party Co-Chairs as they were in the regions where trustees were appointed.
