Ekrem İmamoğlu announces: 2 new metro lines are coming to Istanbul
Speaking in Kartal, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu announced that 2 new metro lines will enter service in March.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu attended the opening of the Neriman-Sami Türkdoğan Soup Kitchen-Food Bank and Disaster Logistics Center, which were built by the Kartal Municipality.
Speaking at the event, İmamoğlu also stated that 2 new metro lines will enter service in March.
İmamoğlu used the following expressions:
"We will open two more metro lines in March. One is on the Anatolian Side, the other on the European Side. The Ataköy-İkitelli line on the European Side; the Çekmeköy-Sancaktepe-Samandıra line on the Anatolian Side. In total, we will have completed 65 kilometers of metro lines in these 5 years."
